If Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (cpap) Is The Treatment Of Choice For A Patient, A Maximal Effort To Treat With Cpap For An Adequate Period Of Time Should Be Made Prior To Initiating And During Treatment With Modafinil For Excessive Sleepiness.
